constructing garments from historical workwear and military for the post-modern world

The blue collar industry is what keeps this world afloat in order to operate a growing market. Within this market, hundreds of thousands of workwear, military garments, and more are used, tattered, and beat to the ground on the bodies of people creating materials and resources for our world. These garments are given purpose through function, but that function must come to end someday and a new purpose must be found: collecting and recycling. Fashion can be a catalyst to reawakening these garments for people to wear on their back and be proud of them. The purpose of this is to deconstruct and then reconstruct these garments into new ones in order for them to gain new purpose through intense patterning, strategic placements of distresses, and unique cuts of the fabric. These garments will reawaken a new purpose when put on your back.
